Josie and Delaney This is us before we married in Cebu, Jan, 2001 Life in the Philippine Islands with a 'Filipina Lady' and a Foreigner Husband by Josie & Delaney Davis We will be married 5 years this coming January 2006. We began as Penpals, writing letters to each other ( letters are very important. You can read them over and over again and it helps you to make your decisions and shows Immigrations you have a valid relationship ). We communicated, giving our thoughts to each other. It was important that Delaney would come to the Philippines to meet me and my family. We were both cautious in the beginning. Because we were both serious to have this relationship, we were both nervous... but we had an open mind to each others desire. We wanted to be together, but at the same time we were afraid that the other was not truly serious in their desire. We went through a lot.... it is amazing that we survived all the trials we faced.  So if you want to do this, you must be aware that it is NOT easy. You have to have the desire to do this. You have to ask yourself WHY..... do you want this. You have to ask yourself HOW can you accomplish this. Most of all, you must ask yourself.... Do I truly want the Love of my Life..... If you can say YES to all this... then you should Go For It....  If NOT...  just let it remain in your dreams and you wonder.... Then when they are asked for money to help to get a Mom or Dad out of the Hospital.... the "Stupid guy" sends them money. This is very common and a 'Good Business' for the Pinoy Man or Pinay Woman "taking advantage" in the Chat Rooms and Email Sites !!!!
