I am writing you because I recently have fallen in love with an
online young lady from Ozamiz and really think we have something
special. I am separated and my soon to be ex wife is in Mexico
living with our son. My new girlfriend is 23 and I am 46. We have
spent numerous days going over pictures of each other and of my
house and she has been online via camera. I have also been in allot
of contact with her via the telephone and have introduced myself to
her mother who apparently likes me.
I really love her and respect her traditions and
will work to get my divorce finalized as soon as possible so we can

I am just wondering about some of the complications that may arise

to stay in the USA and work so she can come here and live with me
but I am very open to going there to live but do not think I can

hi josie and delaney.... from one lucky man (who married
his filipina 32 1/2 years ago) to another.... lily is from the
dumaguete area and also speaks cebuano. we have lived all over
the world, from vietnam to korea to the philippines and okinawa due
to my being in us civil service with the military. presently
we are retired and living in hurricane city (ooops!!) i mean
pensacola florida. lily likes to go "home" to the pi every
year or so. you should see my phone bill! we use the
FilAm Phone Club which has cheap prices (.16/min) but that only
means lily can talk longer. it never goes down, she just gets
to talk a longer time.
you have a really super web site. i just ran across it and was so
touched by your wonderful story that i thought i'd send you an
email. we men who are married to filipinas are the
luckiest men in the world. right, delaney?
if we can ever do your guys a favor, like sending you a "balikbayan"
box or something, let me know. i would get you what you
need/want locally and send it to you by the balikbayan box delivery
service we use to send stuff to lily's folks. they usually
take two months to get there, breeze thru customs and are large
boxes: 30"x24"x24" approximately and there's no limit on
weight. some of the boxes we send take two men to pick them
up. so, delaney, if you are missing some of your usa type
food, or anything else, this would be a good way to stock up.
the most recent boxes we sent, last month, cost $85/box.
not bad for unlimited weight and long distance delivery door to
door. just thought i'd mention it....
