  I enjoyed scanning through your pictures and messages and it brought back some memories of my own. 15 years ago I met and married a Filipina in Manila and we built a house in Dumaguete City and lived there for some six years before returning here to Edinburgh, Scotland, U.K. This Christmas we will visit Batangas City for just five weeks and I will enjoy every second there. Hi! congratulations to both of you & have many babies to come! nice love story, I also married to a foreigner. I remember that when my husband proposed me to get married I did not accept right away because I met him in the place where I work as a sales representative in Robinson, CEBU and while he's passing by and he saw me and just like love at first sight. At the time he stayed in Bohol so the following day he came back and invite me to a dinner and then he propossed to bring me to his country NJ, USA and I was confused because honestly I cant love the guy overnight unlike you guys you been knowing each other for two years and then get married. So I did not accept his proposal and I told him that I'm going to think first. The thing is that he's too older than me and I don't like to decide quickly the thing that I'm going to regret in the future because for me married is not like a food that if you don't like, you can spit it out.

The following day we went out again and then I told him that I accept his proposal and then the rest is history.  So he went bact to NJ, USA and then in 3 months since he left me, he came back again and then that's the time I brought him to the province where my parent & relatives live in Cambiahan, Negros Oriental. By the way he came to see me and my relatives with immigration documents that we need to filled up and sign (Fiancée, so  in 4 months I was in NJ, USA on Jan 19, 1998.

Now we have 3 years old beautiful daughter at the time we get married his 50 year old and I was going 21 years old. I did not regret because I love him, he has a business (accounting) and I don't worry of anything his secured.
Here in US a lot of young handsome man but I can't replace by husband because his the best and older husband is great because they have more patience, give you all you want as long as it makes you happy & treat you like a queen.

Delaney, you're a lucky man and treat Josie like a queen because she deserve it and we filipina love's our husband to death and we don't care how old the guy is.

I surfed your website before like more than a year ago and at that time you guys not married yet and I'm here again and I surprise that there's more photos and then I see that you guys get married.

No payment is necessary.  We only charge a fee to the gentlemen that want to
contact a Filipina Lady, and that is for their membership dues. Our Members
receive all the ladies addresses (plus advice and help support if they ask us) with just one membership fee.  Most of our members sign up for One Year.  We also have found that all the Gentlemen that are truly interested in making a Filipina Lady his future wife,  do not mind paying a reasonable membership fee.  We have also found that those that want free addresses of Filipinas, are only wanting to chat by email and most of them will never pay the costs involved with petitioning a Filipina Lady for a Fiancé Visa, or a Spouse Visa. Just print out all the applications you will need, and send them to your cousins in the Philippines so they can fill them out and sign them.  They must sign the application, and just a suggestion....   tell them to send the best photo possible and suggest they do not have a frown on their faces.  A smile is always best or a twinkle in the eyes.    Also be sure that we can see their eyes clearly in the photos.   A gentleman can tell a lot about the personality of the lady by the look in her eyes. A photo with a lot of background is not good because the gentlemen do not really care about the scenery in the background ( and we must cut out that part of the photo and try to enlarge her so she can be seen.  The ladies can use photos like that when they begin communicating with a gentleman.

First and foremost, I would like to congratulate you two.  Delaney, you are a remarkable man! I was elated and so enthralled about your love story.  I, too am married to a wonderful man for 20 years.  We are still here ang growing strong more than ever.  Life is good, God is good and America is the BEST!  I was originally from Bocaue, Bulacan (northern part of Luzon).  My husband was a young sailor(20) when we two meet in Olangapo, Subic Bay.  I was 21 then.  I was working in the entertainment business...just use you imagination...ha-ha-ha!  I just want to sound it politically correct per say or sound it appropriately.  But, if you know what I mean.

We were so much in love and the time and the place that we two meet was impossible for some people and friends we knew.  We were critisized and the fact of the matter of being a sailor marrying a filipina is "taboo."

Listening to your conversation with Josie, and the conversation from Josie to you brings back memories in me.  To make this story short, our love story is quite a "success" and for 20 years I have learned a lot about the american way of life.  The concept, the unlimited possibilites to succeed, the american people, the freedom  and the opportunities this country has to offer is eternal.  America is now my "home."

I was born dirt poor.  I've lost my dignity as a young child.  I was abused, humiliated and name a few.  Yet, that did not stop my husband to love me and marry me.  I really adore your golden heart to Josie and Josie's to you.  I wish you both success, happiness and eternal love.  There will be some tough times but it will get easier as soon as Josie finds out her own freedom to this great country of ours.  It will take patience, dedication and commitment.

Josie is a smart lady and I admire her courage, her love to you, to her family, and friends she left behind.  My respect for you both immense.

HOW TO HAVE AN IDEAL RELATIONSHIP

A relationship is a natural, logical, and harmonious association.
This happens when people WANT to be with each other
and look forward to sharing goals, time, and activities together.
Here are fun and easy ways to a loving Ideal Relationship.

1. TALK. Always in pleasant tones. No shouting or swearing at each
other. Speak only positive words with gentleness and kindness.
Communicate daily. This is the highest and most caring form of love.

2. WALK TOGETHER more. Take 30 minutes a day. To exercise,
communicate, release emotions, share ideas, goals, and to clear up
any misunderstandings. It's okay to hold hands, too!

it's almost one year ago, I met my girl. It was Easter season and it start with a penpalship too.

This morning we talked about getting a visa in the U.S. (because of her relatives, living in Las Vegas) and in Germany, where I'm living. It's so hard to be separated and I start to search the web for some VISA related items. At least, I found your wonderful site and I just can say:

It took me more than an hour to read your history and to watch your pictures again and again.
Made my first visit to the philippines this year january and it wouldn't make sense to repeat the things you're talking about, I almost made the same experiences.
Nice to see, that you and your wife
(Hey, CONGRATULATIONS !!!)
finally found the right one, like I did.

Never felt so much at home, as in Marikina, with all this wonderful and caring people (and that's not just regarding the family of my Erlina ...)

A pinoy friend of mine, Dan, found the right words: Germany is good for working, the Philippines are good for living ...

The worst thing was, last evening at the airport, to think about the sweet memories, before departure.
