Hi! congratulations to both of you & have many babies to come! nice love story, I also married to a foreigner. I remember that when my husband proposed me to get married I did not accept right away because I met him in the place where I work as a sales representative in Robinson, CEBU and while he's passing by and he saw me and just like love at first sight. At the time he stayed in Bohol so the following day he came back and invite me to a dinner and then he propossed to bring me to his country NJ, USA and I was confused because honestly I cant love the guy overnight unlike you guys you been knowing each other for two years and then get married. So I did not accept his proposal and I told him that I'm going to think first. The thing is that he's too older than me and I don't like to decide quickly the thing that I'm going to regret in the future because for me married is not like a food that if you don't like, you can spit it out.

The following day we went out again and then I told him that I accept his proposal and then the rest is history.  So he went bact to NJ, USA and then in 3 months since he left me, he came back again and then that's the time I brought him to the province where my parent & relatives live in Cambiahan, Negros Oriental. By the way he came to see me and my relatives with immigration documents that we need to filled up and sign (Fiancée, so  in 4 months I was in NJ, USA on Jan 19, 1998.

Now we have 3 years old beautiful daughter at the time we get married his 50 year old and I was going 21 years old. I did not regret because I love him, he has a business (accounting) and I don't worry of anything his secured.
Here in US a lot of young handsome man but I can't replace by husband because his the best and older husband is great because they have more patience, give you all you want as long as it makes you happy & treat you like a queen.

Delaney, you're a lucky man and treat Josie like a queen because she deserve it and we filipina love's our husband to death and we don't care how old the guy is.

I surfed your website before like more than a year ago and at that time you guys not married yet and I'm here again and I surprise that there's more photos and then I see that you guys get married.

No payment is necessary.  We only charge a fee to the gentlemen that want to
contact a Filipina Lady, and that is for their membership dues. Our Members
receive all the ladies addresses (plus advice and help support if they ask us) with just one membership fee.  Most of our members sign up for One Year.  We also have found that all the Gentlemen that are truly interested in making a Filipina Lady his future wife,  do not mind paying a reasonable membership fee.  We have also found that those that want free addresses of Filipinas, are only wanting to chat by email and most of them will never pay the costs involved with petitioning a Filipina Lady for a Fiancé Visa, or a Spouse Visa. Just print out all the applications you will need, and send them to your cousins in the Philippines so they can fill them out and sign them.  They must sign the application, and just a suggestion....   tell them to send the best photo possible and suggest they do not have a frown on their faces.  A smile is always best or a twinkle in the eyes.    Also be sure that we can see their eyes clearly in the photos.   A gentleman can tell a lot about the personality of the lady by the look in her eyes. A photo with a lot of background is not good because the gentlemen do not really care about the scenery in the background ( and we must cut out that part of the photo and try to enlarge her so she can be seen.  The ladies can use photos like that when they begin communicating with a gentleman.

First and foremost, I would like to congratulate you two.  Delaney, you are a remarkable man! I was elated and so enthralled about your love story.  I, too am married to a wonderful man for 20 years.  We are still here ang growing strong more than ever.  Life is good, God is good and America is the BEST!  I was originally from Bocaue, Bulacan (northern part of Luzon).  My husband was a young sailor(20) when we two meet in Olangapo, Subic Bay.  I was 21 then.  I was working in the entertainment business...just use you imagination...ha-ha-ha!  I just want to sound it politically correct per say or sound it appropriately.  But, if you know what I mean.

We were so much in love and the time and the place that we two meet was impossible for some people and friends we knew.  We were critisized and the fact of the matter of being a sailor marrying a filipina is "taboo."

Listening to your conversation with Josie, and the conversation from Josie to you brings back memories in me.  To make this story short, our love story is quite a "success" and for 20 years I have learned a lot about the american way of life.  The concept, the unlimited possibilites to succeed, the american people, the freedom  and the opportunities this country has to offer is eternal.  America is now my "home."

I was born dirt poor.  I've lost my dignity as a young child.  I was abused, humiliated and name a few.  Yet, that did not stop my husband to love me and marry me.  I really adore your golden heart to Josie and Josie's to you.  I wish you both success, happiness and eternal love.  There will be some tough times but it will get easier as soon as Josie finds out her own freedom to this great country of ours.  It will take patience, dedication and commitment.

it's almost one year ago, I met my girl. It was Easter season and it start with a penpalship too.

This morning we talked about getting a visa in the U.S. (because of her relatives, living in Las Vegas) and in Germany, where I'm living. It's so hard to be separated and I start to search the web for some VISA related items. At least, I found your wonderful site and I just can say:

It took me more than an hour to read your history and to watch your pictures again and again.
Made my first visit to the philippines this year january and it wouldn't make sense to repeat the things you're talking about, I almost made the same experiences.

I enjoyed looking thru your lovely website. I am leaving March 26 to get married to a lovely Philippine Lady from Siargo Island. Her name is Elizabeth and she studied in Surigao City.

I will be in the Philippines till April 29 to set up a buying office in Cebu and Manila. I ship products to Florida and the Caribbean.

anyway, i again attend another wedding ceremony to one of my dear cousin just yesterday. the traditional one-church wedding. yet i said to myself how many will i can see and attend with all those glamorous style when after awhile, i will heard and knew that things doesn't work will any more.
for me, i would rather attend the simple one but with all the sincerity.

to marry someone is a tough decision to make.
that is why singles often feel left out, sometimes they resent matchmakers who often try to introduce them to their otherwise left-over friends.

again, i am not against for those people who still like to have their wedding day to be a "special event" of they're lives. it's a choice to make.
in fact, it's everyone dream especially for those who is still believe in the magic or should i say miracle of love at meron pa nga kaya?

actually, at my younger age of 31,i was already tired of the foolish game of life here.tired of trying to make a simple good name for myself-independently!
and worst of all tired of being a "prisoner of alot of expectations" that my ancestors is being taught to me.
kaya nga doon sa mga pinay na nakapag-asawa ng ibang lahi huwag namang maging "mayabang+abusado". naka-tikim ng konting ka-ginhawan sa buhay,kung magtrato sa kapwa-kabayan, akala mo pwede mo ng bilhin ang lahat ng kaharap.

kung kaya't lahat ng pinoy+pinay ay ganyan ang magiging ugali at dadalhin nyo pa rito----mas mabuti pa nga huwag na kayong bumalik dito!
dahil bug-bog na ang Pilipinas sa pagbabatikos+panglalait ng ibang lahi+bansa.

no wonder why Philippines is being controversial among all the countries in this world in terms of historically+geographically+politically in the eyes of someone great.

dati rati mataas ang pangarap kung makaalis at maka pagtrabaho ng disente na kahit na maging domestic helper pa ko sa ibang bansa-pero ngayon nawalan na ako ng gana at malamang hindi na talaga ako makaalis dito sa kahit na maayos at malinis na pamamaraan kung gawin.

Peace and joy be with you both. I hope you enjoy such an immeasurable share of health notwithstanding
of the hectic  schedules that you might have nowadays. I start visited your website last January and
 i hope that oneday Josie can come to you in the U.S and begin a new life with you together. I got
 interest to read your love story . When i know Josie is from Mangagoy and then i remembered my very
best friend she is also from Mangagoy but grown up in Cebu City but  some of her relatives are still
 there and she promised me that in my next vacation to Phil. she will bring me to the beautiful place
in Mangagoy. I am also a Filipina married to a very nice German guy. I was 22 yrs. old when i met my
hero and the love of my life and he was 39 yrs. old that time. Our age gap is 16 yrs. but for me age
 does`nt matter, the impt. in a relationship is ,that both of you love each other,  with respect , understanding, and faithfulness is the very impt. I was also a member before just like what the ladies in our country did.

But i did not met my husband through website. I meeted him in January of 1999 when he had a 3 weeks
vacation in Cebu City. I worked before in a Shoe Boutique( Rusty Lopez ) in Ayala Cntr. Cebu , then he
saw me there and that was love at first sight. He started to do courting and he asked me if i can introduce
him to my parents and then i brought him to my family and he enjoyed so much talking to them. After
 1 week of knowing him , i turned in love because of his generousity and being a gentleman. After 3 weeks
he flew back to Germany and i noticed how i really miss him since his gone. After 2 days i received
call from him that his okey and still keep on telling me that he really like me ,me i was not able to
 control myself , i told him that i really love him too although in the telephone but we felt that we talk
personally. He called me twice a week although the telephone calls was a disaster for him but because
of love no matter what. As he work in Lufthansa Airlines he can easily fly as he wants.

After 2 months from his visit , he came again for one week just to spend time with me. That time , he asked me if i can imagine to live in Germany and i answered no because i don`t have a relatives there. He said, no, that is not what i mean, i mean can you imagine to marry me and live with me in Germany. I was astonished and i cannot say a word. Then i said that pls. give me enough time to think it over. One week is over then i came with him until airport and i told him in surprise that i am welling to be his wife to be and he  was very happy and kissed me in front of many people. I was very ashamed bec. i am conservative
type and we Filipinas are not used to do kissing in public and i explained that to him and he asked an
apologized. He was again in Germany and we only have a contact through telephone ( i really give
 thanks Alexander Gra. for inventing the tel.) then we plan our wedding in Phil.I prefered to have a
garden wedding . Then the schedule of our wedding was on June 25, 1999 and i arranged all the
 invitations,decorations and the reception all the problems i accomfleshed bec. of love . My husband
and his relatives came 2 days before our wedding .

In God`s blessings our wedding was very successful. Our wedding was in June 25 , 1999 and my husband brought me here in Germany in July 5 ,1999. This coming July 5 , i will be 3 yrs. here. In last July 29, 2002 was our second church wedding here in Germany and only my Mom who attended the wedding.My Mom stayed only one month here bec. she missed her grand childrens ( Apos ) in Phil. At the moment , we don`t still have a kids bec. i am  trying to  accomflesh myself. Here in Germany , you must to learn their language in order to obtain a good work and a good future. Now i know how to speak german and at the moment i have my driving lessons . If you love your husband you will do all just to be with him no matter how far is your family.

 My first one yr. here was very diffecult for me to adjust i have always a home sick , the weather and
 the language was a disaster for me. I thank God that i have a very supportive husband . He is always
there for me when i need him  and once a year we will fly to Phil. and visit my family in Cebu and we
spent most of our time in Mactan in Cebu Beach club ( Tambuli beach resort ). Well, guys that is the
story of me with my schatzi mausi. I cannot explain how i really love  my husband and i cannot tel you
how he really loves me. The key of this is make an adventure and learn the culture and tradition in
 our country. Ask Delaney & Josie and they may able to help you to find the women of your dreams.
 I share this story to you guys  that the intension of western man to a Filipinas are not bad . Infact,
 my husband supported my 3 siblings to finish their studies . So , how could they can be bad if they are
 trying to improve the poverty of their wifes family in Phil. I know a lot of guys who love to support the
family of their wives in the Phil. they did that because they are contented and they are very happy and
thankful also to have a Filipina wife who is very family oriented.

You Josie and Delaney keep up the  good work and don`t stop to help those people who are trying to meet their partners in life. Until here  and wishing you both the best of everything in life specially health is the most impt. If ever Josie has  a time she can send me an e-mail as she want and i love to receive her e.mails too. I have also 2  special friends in Cebu married in Florida in St. Lucy and in Tampa Bay and i plan next year to visit them and maybe that time Josie is already with you hopefully and i will give you a ring just to say  hello. Gosh Delaney we sure enjoyed hearing you sing to Josie, you sure must love her a lot, that makes us so very happy for you both. We are sorry to inform you Josie that your recording did not work on our computer.

Anyway, I married a lady from the Philippines about two years ago and we also have a big age gap between us. For some unknown reason it has not made a bit of difference to either one of us. I thought that people would "laugh" at me for marrying someone so young but after they met and talked to her they soon found out that it didn't matter.

It doesn't take long to fall in love with a Filipina so I would say to any of you guys planning to visit the Philippines, take your birth certificate and a ring, you'll need them both! My wife is from Dumaguete City. I went to see her on a two week visit and like you Delaney...I just hated to leave. I left "twice" and had to return for a last hug, I didn't know how long it would be before I saw her again.

You can leave the Philippines but the Philippines won't leave you. Tears were in my eyes as that plane rolled down the run way that day believe me. We are finally together for two years now and have a beautiful daughter because of it. We named her "Tiana Nicole".

So I will say that happiness comes in many shapes, sizes and ages, there is no one size "fits all" when it comes to love.

Keep up the good work that you both are doing. We hope that everything settles down in the Philippines so it will be safe for all of us to visit.

I just wanted to let you know that I am still alive and well. I enjoyed your site and found that in all my dealings with you that you have been very helpful, friendly, reassuring and sincere.
I visited cebu in April of this year and although did not meet any one to set the sparks flying I can say that I found the true Philippines people very kind and open hearted. I find the ladies of south east asia very attractive not only in looks but they are so respectful and quiet unlike many western ladies. I am old , 51 years, but see attraction in meeting someone with high moral values and sincerity without the complications of several divorced husbands and children to complicate things. Sure there must be potential problems in west meeting east cultures but if you have the kind of personality that enjoys travel and sharing different cultures then it is something to savour not avoid. I am currently writing to a Filippina penpal and i do not know if anything will transpire from this but I am sincerely very grateful to have someone from the other side of the world to share thoughts and friendship.

His name is Stevie and he was damaged in a hospital during the labor and delivery process of his mother, Marylou Salinas. She was also injured during this accident and remained in a coma for 7 years and died last month in California. She was born in Angeles city.

A woman who has never been married and without experience in relationships is what I seek to be my loving wife. Someone not opposed to marrying a loving and gentle man who is much older then she is. Someone who will carry on my journey long after my time on earth is through. There will be a financial benefit to this bride as well. She will be paid a substancial salary and it will last at least 10 years. This wage is for assisting me with his on-going care. More likely then not the salary will remain in place for at least 20 years. The home is already established and operating and these wages would not be necessary for household expences. Hello, I visited your site and found it very well contructed and very special to me. One year ago I met my true love here in the states through a mutual friend. She just happens to be from the Philippines. She has been in the States now since 1982 with many visits back home. I was lucky enough to be able to go with her this past September and It actually changed my thinking and impressions 100%. Her family took me in as if they'd known me forever and when it came time to come back to the states I felt as if I were leaving my heart there with them. We plan on going back for Christmas 2001 but before then her niece of 11 is coming over to visit us in the spring for a month.
