OUR STORY

We began as Penpals, writing real Post Office letters to each other and developing a beautiful friendship with trust and respect. I loved it to receive his letters to me and I save the Postage Stamps and make me a stamp collection. We communicated, giving our thoughts to each other and love began to grow in our hearts. It was important that Delaney would come to the Philippines to meet me and my family. We were both cautious in the beginning. Because we were both serious to have this relationship, we were both nervous... but we had an open mind to each others desire to be together forever.

IT was definitely worth the time and effort we spent to get to know each other.  For Us....  it is the Best Thing we ever did in our lives....  We have just celebrated 7 years of marriage as of January, 2008 and love grows stronger with each passing year together....   We are BEST FRIENDS and Lifetime mates....   this is the best combination in a relationship...

The Philippines is a country made up of a chain of more than 7,100 Islands. The chain sits in the western Pacific Ocean. Some of the islands are so small that no one can live on them. Other islands have large mountain ranges, valleys and rivers. (*) The women in the Philippines are referred to as a Filipina Lady. The men and the people are are commonly called Filipinos.  Also Pinay (for women) and Pinoy (for men). English and Tagalog is the main Filipino language but there are many different dialects in the Provinces.  Best to speak English to a Filipina Lady rather than try to speak her language.

IMPORTANT:  The English language is taught is all schools and it is the national language. Each Filipina Lady can read and write English, but the problem is they are 'shy' to speak it because they do not yet have the confidence and because so many foreigners like to use "Slang" English instead of "Proper" English.  I had a problem of talking to Delaney in the beginning because of this. I had to ask him what was the meaning of his words...  so you be careful of this because it is so easy to not understand what you are trying to communicate to your Filipina Lady.
